Dr. Jasen Cheng Chi, MD

I do not recommend Dr. Jasen Chi! I saw HIM one time, he did not look at my joints and sat across the room with a very cold demeanor. Every other visit was nurses. I had an anaphylactic reaction to an Rheumatoid arthritis medication which landed me in the ER. I called his office that evening and next day, NO ER number to call and it took them four days to return my calls. NOT acceptable!!!

So appreciative to Dr. Chi for being such a great person and actually talking to me and listening to all my crazy concerns!! Staff is just as helpful and kind!!

I have no idea why he's so bitter and unstable. There's definitely something wrong with this guy. He has gone out of his way to stalk and threaten my wife on Facebook. There's something seriously wrong with this guy and it needs to be looked at.

I have seen so many doctors and this office has the friendliest and best staff. So comforting and professional. The whole experience was so positive!!

was going esle where and got a referal to dr Chi.. He is great. I have had this diease 42 years and dr dchi listen to what i had to say and he suggested changing some of my meds. I had been on the same things many years and he thought They may no longer be working on me. Been good to me and my dr, At new clinic wait times are tough

Dr.Chi doesn’t seemed rushed when listening to your ailments His manner is reassuring & kind in communicating possible ways to make you feel better. You leave feeling you have met with a Dr. who is committed to making you feel better.

Recent delays from Chi and staff. He suggested I take Infusions for the RA treatment. I have been unable to reach him or staff regarding this in six weeks. Multiple phone call and messages have not been returned. This has only been since the new clinic began.

Some blood work came back a bit funny so my primary doctor referred me to Dr. Chi. My appointment was for 3:30pm but I did not leave the office until 6:40pm. I understand they ran behind but... C'mon. When i was finally taken back, the nurse informed me that the office had not recieved my blood work so I proceded to pull up my results on my phone so the nurse could make notes. Dr. Chi comes in and basically tells me its not lupus, not inflammation and its a muscle issue or fibromyalgia. I asked him had he seen my blood work to make such adamant diagnoses and he tells me he had seen ALL my labs. Well that was lie because I had to pull up my labs on my phone myself. He basically talked to me like I was wasting his time being there when I was simply following my doctor's orders. He was speaking so flippant to me that I had to overtalk him in order for him to listen. Once i started telling him about joint swelling, severe pain, bony lumps, etc, he FINALLY listens, asks real questions and… began to take real notes. He asked if anyone else had my suspected disease and I told him my mother ( something he would have noted had he looked at my chart.)I begin to tell him some of my blood work results and what was already eliminated (diseases he suggested) by my bloodwork and he took more notes ( I thought you saw every lab??). By the end of the appointment, his demeanor had changed somewhat and I feel he started to take me serious. I don't know. Maybe he was flippant because I am fairly young and healthy and it seemed unlikely I needed his care, which I can understand. But my mother was diagnosed at 27 so I and my doctor have every right to be proactive and preventative with my health. Maybe my next appointment will fair better but based off first impressions, I wasn't impressed. I don't want to have to fight to be heard by the physicians I encounter just to get proper care. I shouldn't have to. Very nice, professional office staff though. Update: In my appt, Dr. Chi conveyed that he understood my issues and we both agreed to a mri of my right scapula but because I informed him the pain in my scapular SOMETIMES runs up my neck and down my right arm a bit and because of that he insisted i also have a scan of my cervical spine ( neck).I arrived to my mri monday and discovered that he ordered the mri for JUST my neck, even after I insisted thats NOT where my pain comes from. Got my results today and of course they are normal. My shoulder has a bony growth, easily aggravated and makes it hard to sleep so this mri was FINALLY going to give me answers and a direction towards treatment. Now my insurance won't cover another mri since this showed normal. I am beyond upset. The person who performed my mri said dr. Chi sent very scarce notes about me and had actually CANCELLED my mri earlier that day and then reordered it. Dr. Chi has yet to return my messages. I have already asked my gp to refer me to another office. I am just in shock at the negligence, dimissiveness and unproductive experience I've had with chi so far. I will NEVER go back and recommend you think twice before you do or see another doctor in the office. Now I have to wait even longer to find out whats wrong with me. What an awful experience, truly.

Dr Chi is a great doctor. He spends all the time necessary to thoroughly evaluate and treat. He is very concerned and caring

Dr Chi was extremely rude! He pushed opioids after I told him I didn't want anything like that. He was aggravated that I couldn't afford to take some meds he prescribed. One was $500 for a month's supply. He treated me like I was stupid and I was very unhappy with him. I won't ever use him again. However, his staff were friendly and helpful.
