Dr. Jasia Hu, MD

Dr Hu is extremely caring and competent . She addresses all questions and concerns in a thoughtful and understandable way . She is very thorough and proactive . I feel fortunate to have her as my primary care provider .

Dr. Hu actually cares about me and my physical well being, even when she refers me to a specialist. She always asks to have all test results and notes forwarded to her from other doctors. She cares about the whole patient and she listens first before assuming the reason for your visited. She is without a doubt the best and most caring doctor I have ever had.

Refill requests faxed by my pharmacy have been ignored. Several inquiries later, they were authorized but sent to the wrong pharmacy, one I’ve never been to. Low rating more directed to office staff, however, dr. Is accountable for her staff.

I called an appointment with this doctor & I was given an appointment after a month for physical check-up. I said ok. One week before the appointment date, the office called me & said that I had to re-schedule because the doctor will not be there. So they re-scheduled me to wait for 2 more weeks. I had to re-schedule my time off from work. At the date of appointment, I was just late for 10 minutes due to other obligations that I cannot just leave. The secretary just told me that the doctor won't see me & I have to re-schedule again because I was late. I said it was only 10 minutes that I was late & I had to take a half day off. I said that this was the re-scheduled appointment already. I asked the secretary if Dr Hu has a patient right now. She said yes. SO I said, what is the difference with me being late for 10 minutes if I will also just wait because there was a patient before me. I said I cannot re-schedule & take another time off. The secretary said that the she would check. I… waited, later on, I spoke with the secretary again & she just said that Dr Hu will not see me & I had to re-schedule again. I was so upset! Does this office thinks that only their time is important? That they can just treat the patient like that. The office just lost a customer who has been going there for many years. To take note that this was the first time that I was late & was never late before.

Dr Hu is by far the best doctor I've ever had. Not only is she incredibly knowledgeable and accurate, she thinks outside the box and has a wonderful bedside manner that is unseen these days!

Dr. Hu is excellent and I highly recommend her, but the office staff was extremely rude the first visit I made to her. There seem to be a number of different employees at the desk, and not all of them are bad, however.
