Dr. Jasmine Kaur Atwal, MD

Unreal and unprofessional experience here for My poor sweet kid. He couldn’t get the portal To work on his phone for his appointment (mind you this appointment happened to be on his birthday and the doctor knew that) He struggled getting through the phone line and finally did about 15 mins into his scheduled appointment. The doctor refused to talk to him and demanded and charged us a $75 no show fee when we clearly were available ans trying. The appointments are always short (and seemingly unnecessary) nothing changes as the medication and dosage is always the same and good and the appointment is just so the doctor can charge his insurance and clearly then try and charge parents out of pocket whenever/however she can ... rude staff that only reflects the demeanor and attitude of the doctor they work for

I really like the doctor. She's very caring and it's obvious she wants to help her clients. The issue is getting in touch with anyone in that office is an absolute NIGHTMARE! This is a major problem when it comes to needing medication refills or scheduling an appointment, to the point of sometimes taking a few weeks before things get done. I really want to like the office due to how much I like the MD, but this is an issue I've been having with the office for the last few years I've been going and it's an issue that continues to happen till today. They've changed staff multiple times, but it hasn't gotten any better

I was a patient for one appt with Dr. Jasmine Atwal a few years back, but she suggested a different therapist for the time being. Now, I am looking to see her s a licensed Psychiatrist, but my account expired, so I had to make a brand new one. While I cannot yet review Dr. Atwal with recent experience, her office is completely unhelpful. The receptionist did not assist with scheduling or with navigating (then recreating a new) account, the phones do not take messages, the online portal is no longer in use, the consultation request page "is not found" when the link is clicked, and no one answers emails or secure portal messages. Oh, and, in my desperation (it has been three weeks), I went to Fax her––but the fax machine is "currently unavailable." I am struggling to contact anyone at this office, making this stressful and vulnerable process disheartening and extremely upsetting.

Dr. Atwal is a warm and caring doctor who really takes the time to listen to my daughter. She has helped her so much, and I am so thankful to have found her. She's getting busier so I know it harder to get in to see her, but it is so worth it. Someone who actually takes time & is so thorough is worth it. :)

She’s been able to diagnose and talk to my child. We are extremely happy with the work she’s done.
