Jasmine Cupin-Davenport is a Resident in Counseling with over 3 years of experience working with children and adults in behavioral and mental health. She works with clients struggling with depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, life transitions, and substance abuse. Jasmine received her Bachelor’s in Psychology at Virginia Commonwealth University and her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Capella University. Jasmine's diverse background gives her a better understanding of the impact of cultural factors on mental health. She strives to create an individualized working therapeutic relationship with her clients. Jasmine's approach to treatment is person-centered with the goal of promoting self-empowerment. She utilizes cognitive behavioral therapy to address issues related to thought processes, feelings, and behaviors. She also utilizes trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy to identify triggers, process traumatic experiences, and develop healthy coping skills. …Jasmine believes that therapy does not have a one-size-fits-all approach, as people experience life in their own unique way.
