Dr. Jasmine Johnson, DO

Dr. Jasmine Johnson specializes in obstetrics and gynecology with clinical interests in high-risk pregnancy (diabetes and hypertension) in young adults. Her special procedures include osteopathic medicine and minimally invasive surgery.Dr. Johnson received her medical degree from Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine in Auburn, Alabama. She completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology from East Carolina University/ECU Health in Greenville, North Carolina. During her residency, Dr. Johnson received the Society of Laparoscopic & Robotic Surgeons’ Outstanding Resident Surgeon, Resident Teaching Award, and Resident Shining Star Award four consecutive times.She is a Junior Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians & Gynecologists, and a member of the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Dr. Johnson is a huge Auburn fan, along with her husband Christopher, who is a professor at Auburn University.In her spare time, Dr. Johnson loves playing the piano, reading, …and traveling with her family. She and her husband have two fur babies and enjoy taking them hiking and on family trips. Additionally, she enjoys cooking new cuisines, going on medical mission trips, and learning Spanish.Dr. Johnson attributes her success to the Bible verse of Jeremiah 29:11, “For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the Lord, ‘plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
