Dr. Jasmine Ajit Shah, MD

My Fathers care was transfered to Jasmine Shah by his retiring physician. His doctor has been managing his auto immune pulmonary condition for years based on his baseline . She claimed to reviewed his chart but durring his first appointment she literally gave him a death sentance including telling him not to even attempt to get a lung transplant because he is "going to die" her exact words . We have reported her to the VA and requested a second opinion. we also plan to file a complaint with the medical board . This woman has no bedside manner or compassion and I have reason to believe she has racial medical bias. Ever since the complain was filed with the va she has been rushing to schedule a follow up appointment but he will not be returning because we do not trust her and I urge others to do the same . I work in health care and have been advised by other physicians to file a complaint and request to initiate an investigation. Since meeting with her, my father has been depressed … and extremely stressed which can cause his condition to flare up and worsen.

The first time I went for my appointment, she stayed with my wife an I for almost an hour. She answered every question we had, an even some we didn't think about. You don't find many Drs. that take that much time anymore. It is usually in, out, give me your money. Not this Doctor, an she was genuinely concerned about my concerns. I approve.

my father is in the hospital and this dr. is in charge of providing his pulmonary care. Her bedside matter is non-existent. I am sure if this were a family member of hers she might be a little more caring about the patient and the family members that are so concerned.

excellent doctor, spent time with me, explained me in details about my condition. I would highly reccommend her.

I would not recommend this doc to any one.. My wife and i were not happy with her at all. Not sure of her background but foreign grad? thought they were smarter so i chose to go to her but i was wrong..
