Dr. Jason R Abney, DO

I would definitely NOT recommend Dr. Abney. My husband was in an assisted living facility for memory care and Dr Abney was the house doctor The third week of May 2018 I questioned the nurses at the facility why my husbands feet were so swollen despite wearing heavy duty compression hose. I was told his feet had to be elevated and Dr. Abney doubled up his Lasix. On May 25 he was sent to the ER for a fall. He was fine from the fall but he had acute renal failure and had 10% kidney function left. I was informed by the ER doctor as well as other medical professionals that the doubled up Lasix which Dr Abney ordered advanced it to that advanced state of kidney failure rapidly. My husband had at least 6 bouts of conjunctivitis in less than 2 months and instead of questioning why, Dr. Abney just kept ordering medication after medication often without seeing him. In my opinion Dr Abneys care was less than stellar

Dr. Abney is one of the best doctors I have seen. He always goes out of his way to ensure his patients are satisfied. He is very kind to everyone and gives his patients the time they deserve.

After 6 weeks and ok'd from medicare my mother is still sleeping on a thin mattress on the floor of her assisted living so she won't fall out of bed. He's doesn't answer phone calls and neither does his nurse. He doesn't seem to care.

This was my frist visit with Doctor Jason... and was bad experience. . He does not take time with u ... and he takes for ever to give u the results for whatever reason. So yeah he is very unprofessional
