Dr. Jason R Acevedo, DDS

I have been a patient of Dr. Acevedo's since 2013. Prior to that, I was a patient of his father's until his passing. Dr. Acevedo is an excellent dentist, very gentle, caring, and personable. His staff, including his front desk employee, is incredibly pleasant and helpful. I would recommend Dr. Acevedo to anyone looking for an incredible dentist.

First off I want to say that I think he is a very good dentist and his hygienist are good too. However, office policies and the front desk lady are extremely lacking. Two of the last 3 visits, the dentist was not even there and I wasn’t even informed until after I got to the appt. they said he would review the x-rays and call if there was a problem. The last visit the hygienist said there was a problem with my sons teeth and made an appt to get fixed eventhough the dentist didn’t actually examine him. My biggest problem of all though was that they did a set of x-rays above preventive measures without telling me or getting my permission. The procedure seemed no different than the covered bite wings to me, so I had no idea until the bill came for an additional 97$. The front desk lady was extremely unhelpful/rude when I called to ask why I was getting billed for preventative care and told me there was nothing I could do about it and she ‘handles everything’. When I pushed to issue… she said she would talk the dentist and then wouldn’t answer my call the next day until I called from a different number. Finally she said it was in their office policy (which I have not seen or is not accessible) and that It was my responsibility. Moral of the story I would absolutely no recommend this practice.
