Dr. Jason Ian Altman, MD

I am writing this review to warn others based on my personal experience. I returned to this surgeon for a revision surgery to correct the results of a previous procedure he performed on me. We had a clear discussion and mutual agreement about the revision plan. I signed the contract, paid my deposit, scheduled a surgery date, and followed every step required by his office. I attended my follow up appointments, completed all preoperative paperwork, took time off from work, hired a nurse for postoperative care, and filled all of my prescribed medications ahead of time. Despite all of this, my surgery was canceled during my preoperative appointment just two weeks before the scheduled surgery date. I was told that I had waited too long. If that were truly an issue, it should have been clearly communicated before accepting my deposit and allowing me to move forward with surgery planning. Because of this last minute decision, I lost a substantial amount of money and time that could have… been avoided with proper communication from the start. What makes this experience even more painful is that I am still living with the physical outcome of the original surgery. The scarring is severe and highly noticeable. The size is much larger than what was agreed upon and actually makes me look heavier. I struggle to fit into tops and clothing that once fit me comfortably. One breast sits higher than the other and the overall appearance is uneven and distressing. Beyond the physical outcome, the emotional impact has been overwhelming. This situation has deeply affected my confidence and mental well being. Sitting across from him and being told directly that he would not proceed with the revision felt incredibly cold and dismissive. There was no empathy, no accountability, and no concern for the emotional or financial position I was being left in. In my experience, this surgeon lacks bedside manner and compassion. I felt like a number rather than a patient dealing with lasting physical and emotional consequences. While his marketing and online presence may appear impressive, they do not reflect the quality of care I received. I believe he is more focused on promotion than on truly caring for his patients. I do not recommend this surgeon to anyone. I strongly encourage others to save their money and look elsewhere, regardless of how appealing his advertising may seem. My experience has been deeply painful and life altering, and I would not want anyone else to go through what I did.

After many consultations with different doctors in Miami Picking Dr Altman was the best decision ever, a month ago i got a Mastopexy lift with implants and let me tell you my breast look so good. he did my incisions so neat and perfect literally you can barley see my scars from the incisions. Dr Altman gave me exactly what i wanted. when i went in for my consultation he did not rush me listened and answered a million questions that i asked Lol and gave me his honest opinion he's super respectful and his staff are amazing! if you are looking to get a breast augmentation or lift you will not regret going to Dr Altman!!!!

Dr. Altman made me feel extremely comfortable and actually listened to what I wanted, unlike other doctors I had consultations with. I wanted a natural look, which many girls go in saying, but don’t neccesarily receive. Dr. Altman did not disappoint. The size, the profile, the overall look is perfectly natural that people are shocked when they find out I have implants. I would recommend him to anyone.

I had my silicone implants done with Dr Altman 5 years ago and got stopped 3 times this weekend alone at the pool to ask if they were real and who my Dr was. I would definitely recommend him and do frequently to others. He has great bedside manner, great office staff, 5+ stars all around!

In the beginning I din't trust Dr. ALTMAN, but after my surgery and saw the results I'm very happy with my doctor. He's very friendly and answered all my questions. Even I'm going to have the Rhinoplasty revision with him. The only negative part is the waiting time.

He is one of the best if not the best!

i had my breast augmenation with dr jason altman may 2011. he is a great doctor. he knew what i wanted and explained everything to the last detail. he was the 1st PS i saw and i decided to go with him, he made me feel very comfortable and his staff is amazing. they treat you like one of a kind.the only complait i have is that since my surgey i have not seen him on any of my follow up's. his practice is very busy and he is very busy but all in all im very pleased with my results. i cant stop looking at myself in the mirror. he's the best and he will be my PS for the rest of my life "thats if i want more done" which im sure i will.
