Dr. JASON ANDRUS, DO is a BOARD CERTIFIED OPTOMETRISTDr. Jason Andrus was raised in Idaho as the youngest of nine children. During undergraduate studies, he spent two years on a church mission in Massachusetts, which included volunteering at food pantries and Habitat for Humanity. He studied at Utah State University before moving to Michigan for Optometry school with his wife Miriam. After graduating from the Michigan College of Optometry Dr. Andrus completed a residency in primary eye care and ocular disease at the Dayton, Ohio VA Medical Center. His professional interests include glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetic eye care, scleral contact lenses, and pediatric eye care. He is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Michigan Optometric Association, as well as the former Director of the Michigan Optometric Student Private Practice Association. Dr. Andrus enjoys cycling, camping, woodworking, home renovation projects, and classic cars.
