I was in severe pain after an ablation. After ten days of pain, being told by his medical assistant that pain was normal, and no response for my repeated calls and requests to talk with the doctor directly, I went to the emergency room at the hospital. My leg artery was completely blocked from damage from withdrawing the catheter. I was scheduled for major surgery the next day. Shortly after, it was discovered there was additional damage in the artery from the catheter withdrawal. I then had a stent put in. Dr. Appelbaum, even though he spoke with the surgeon, he still did not contact me. Unprofessional and no empathy
