Dr. Jason R Arribas

I am older. My age didn't matter to Dr. Arribas. He cared. It has been a very long time since I left a medical appointment feeling that I truly received help with my health problems. He took the time to read my history, listened to me, asked questions and gave instructions. He ordered an important test from Radiology that I was to take before leaving the facility that day. Dr. Arribas is truly a great Physician.

Dr Arribas took his time and discussed my current health issues as well as some stress and depression issues. Recommended some medications, vaccinations and gave a refill of a medication I had. Performed complete physical examination. Took his time and answered all my questions... didn't get that "I'm in a huge hurry" feeling at all. Nice nurses and staff also.

I was looking to establish care with a new primary care due to insurance change. I chose Dr Arribas because he was close to home and work. He was also new to the practice. As a healthcare provider, I knew the type of doctor and expertise I was looking for. He seemed very uninterested in learning about my past medical history or counseling me going forward. I requested the standard panel of labs to be drawn plus a CEA because of my history of colon cancer. He declined my request. He looked at the history the nurse took and asked some questions, but that was it. I literally sat there on the exam table, clothes and all. It was the biggest waste of time and money. He did want to add on a medication for weight loss that would have had a severe reaction to a migraine medicine I was taking. Thank goodness I ran it by my Neurologist first. Terrible first impression. I never went back, and will never recommend one of our patients to this doctor.
