I had colon surgery by Dr. Aston and I am very thankful I found him. He is very down to earth, caring and skilled. I was very nervous about the surgery, but he put me at ease and I knew I was in good hands. I recommend him with no hesitation!

After becoming lactose intolerant then gluten, my rectum was a mess. I was afraid to go out of my house because I had no control over my bowels due to internal hemorrhoids. Dr Aston performed the rubber band ligation in his office in less than 5 minutes with no pain or bleeding. Really, no pain or bleeding. My life was instantly changed. It has been an amazing change in my life. Thank you to him and everyone in his office.

Words cannot explain how wonderful this doctor is. He is compassionate and very knowledgeable about colon issues. He has taking care of my father in law and returns calls quickly and listens to our questions and explains everything so well. It is certainly worth our drive from out of town to get him to this doctor.

Dr Aston found my stage three colon cancer and encouraged me every step of the way. He is an excellent doctor with incredible listening skills . I am six years out from the cancer and doing well. I would recommend Dr. Aston to anyone who needs a doctor who takes a personal interest in them.

Dr Aston performed a colon resection for diverticulitis and a fistula. His knowledge, kindness, and surgical skill were impeccable and I HIGHLY recommend him if you are looking for the absolute best colo-rectal surgeon in Nashville!

Dr. Aston is one of the most empathetic and caring doctors that I have ever had. He always had time for my questions and concerns, I never felt like I was rushed in and out of his office. He clearly explained every procedure and process that I was going through with my colon resection. He always returned my calls. I would highly recommend him.

The MOST patient, caring, soft spoken Surgeon I have ever met.. Along with AMAZING staff and nurse.. ALL FIVE star worthy! So thankful for the kindness and understanding pre-Op, but more THANKFUL for the kindness and understanding post-Op.. We left a message with the answering service at 12:40AM Sunday morning and at 12:45AM Dr. Aston called our house, clearly was woken up and was so kind, understanding and wonderful... As was he when he called back later that day for the second time. My husband and I have both had surgery and are patients of Dr Aston.. I would recommend him hands down without question..

Dr. Aston was so compassionate and caring with my difficult surgery. I am so thankful to have such a great Dr. that really seems to care and understand my needs. My surgery was really tough and painful, Dr. Aston was there for me and helped me so much. I have had several surgeries over the years and I have never had a Dr. that seemed to be so concerned with me and my progress as Dr. Aston. I hope I never need another surgery like I had but, if I do, Dr. Aston will be my only choice.
