Dr. Jason Andrew Brashear, MD

Dr Brashear replaces my right hip in 2018. I had beeen in pain from arthritis for 3 years. The surgery went well and I went home the next day. I couldn’t be happier with Dr Brashear.

We were told Dr. Brashear was a good surgeon. My husband went to him for a torn meniscus repair. My husband was in and out of surgery in 25 minutes. Dr. Brashear talked to us for 2 minutes showed us a before picture but could not produce an after where he did the trim of the fragmented parts. To make a long story short he did not do what he said he did my husbands conditioned worsened after surgery and Dr. Brashear refused to see him when his knee was swollen to three times it’s size 3 months after surgery. A med one center took 30 cc of fluid off his knee and recommended us to see another surgeon. My husband had to have a 2nd surgery 4 months after his first one to do what Dr. Brashear should have done in the first place but left my husband suffering for months until we could get in with another surgeon. The 2nd surgeon apologized profusely for the suffering my husband endured and was able to complete the surgery with success and my husband has had no problems after the completion of… the 2nd surgery. The 2nd surgeon was able to provide before and after pictures. He was in less pain the day after the 2nd surgery than he was for months after the first one. Dr. Brashear did a hack job on my husband and left him suffering! His dimenor is terrible and extremely unprofessional. Good luck if you allow him to cut you open!! Do your research! We have learned our lesson!

I went to this doctor I Nov of 2018 for shoulder pain . He didn't do anything for me .He didn't even looked at my medicine to see what I was on or see what What Dr Ralph Mills notes said about my shoulder. He didn't even sent me to surgeon. I am now seeing a different doctor and he sending me to a surgeon.

Dr. Brashear performed hip replacement surgery on me. I was impressed with his professionalism and appreciated his encouragement before and after the surgery. I cannot imagine an easier recovery or better surgical result.

Dr Brashear seemed to be a very competent surgeon. I had a complete hip replacement with no issues. I interacted with his PA more than the doctor, but I remember he was very sympathetic before and after the surgery. He personally called and talked with my husband while I was in recovery.

I did not like Dr Brashear at all. He was quite rude and needs to have better people skills. He did not review my records and obviously did not care. I will not return to see him and do not recommend him to anyone!

5 weeks after initial knee replacement it failed and I had to go through the night mare a second time. I was in better shape prior to Brashear cutting on me then I am in now. I have loss of mobility and still in moderate pain. I would not reccommend using this surgon to anyone.

I found Dr. Brashear to be very knowledgeable in his field. He listens and then has all the necessary test done to determine the problem and shares the problem and how he plans on treating it. He really does a great job in explaining how test are done as well as how surgical procedures are performed and what to expect afterwards. He has a very down to earth and caring bedside manner and I finds that this makes me feel more comfortable in an uncomfortable situation. Dr. Brashear is extremely patient and has a great sense of humor. I would definitely recommend him to others searching for an orthopedic surgeon.

Dr. Brashear is excellent... He did an absolutely fantastic job on all 3 of my surgeries and I have and will continue to recommend him to anyone needing these services.. He has a great bedside manner and very informative of everything being done.
