DO NOT GO TO DR BRUSE!!!!! ALL OF HIS POSITIVE REVIEWS ARE FAKE!!!! I went to Dr Bruse to have a bone spur removed from my heel one year ago, May 2021. He made it sound like it would be easy and everything would be better after. Boy do I wish I had gotten a second opinion. After the surgery he barely looked at me and would only stand on the other side of the room and was only in the room 2 minutes each visit snd was irritated I asked him to re-dress my wound after one of the visits. The tape and glue and stitches caused my whole leg to break out in hives but he wouldn't look at it and could care less. One of the internal stitches caused a cyst to form which further aggravated the allergic reactions. I had to go to a wound care doctor, since the surgical wound wouldn't heal and Dr Bruse didn't care. The wound care doctor removed the cyst and suture allowing my wound to finally heal, after 10 months of itchy agony. Dr Bruse never once mentioned physical therapy, or the fact that I am a… type one diabetic. And he is supposed to treat diabetics for foot care. Now, my foot hurts worse than before Dr Bruse's surgery and I have limited mobility and my leg atrophied tremendously!!! I have a constant limp now also. I definitely think he shouldve sent me to physical therapy after the surgery since he removed my Achilles tendon to get to the bone spur. I am so angry about how messed up my foot is and the constant pain I am in every day.
