Dr. Jason Macrae Budde, MD

Dr. Budde saved my husbands life. No other doctor would give my husband a good prognosis, but Dr. Budde did and now he is alive to talk about it and most importantly, as far as my husband is concerned, EATING. Of course there were risks, and they were all put out there, but there was also hope. During the 7 hour surgery I got a report every hour. He answers all of our calls and has a wonderful "bed side manner". He treats the patient, and their families with the utmost respect. He ALWAYS listens to your concerns and if he doesn't have an answer he will get one and get back to you in a very timely manner. He actually deserves 10 stars out of 5. Thank You Dr. Budde, for all you have done for us.

I would recommend Dr. Buddy to anyone facing cancer of the lungs. I had a nodule found on my lung during a routine physical. I was actually getting the clear to have knee replacement. I had a CT scan done and was advised I needed to see a pulmonary Doctor. My referral was going to be 2 to 4 weeks waiting. I was scared and did not want to wait. I called my insurance company and got the name of Dr Ramos in Blount County, tho I live in Knox County. They gave me an appt on Monday and I called on Friday. I went with my CT disc. He reviewed and called Dr Budde immediately, who agreed to see me that day, he scheduled a PET scan and tentatively scheduled surgery the following Monday. He explained everything to my husband about the biopsy and how he would remove the upper lobe if cancer, it was non small cell cancer. The upper lobe was removed and a biopsy was done on my lymphnoids which came back clear, he removed all cancer cells. The post op care was wonderful. He, along with Brandon… McNil,PA, checked on me 2 or 3 times a day. If I had it to do again, Dr Budde would do my surgery. I can't thank him enough fo getting me taken care of so quickly and professionally. Highly recommend
