Dr. Jason Davis Burklow, MD

The doctor is very good. His office practices are going to end up harming someone. Never have I had to talk to a nurse before making an appointment to see a doctor. All that happens if a great game of phone tag. The nurses forget to send referrals, forget to send for records and the patient is left waiting thinking things are getting handled. Sad situation.

This is the best GP in the Lake Charles area in my opinion. Dr. Burklow takes time with each patient to understand their concerns and to find treatment solutions that work for the patient. I feel very comfortable with him and my appointments feel like a visit with a friend and not just another person in a white coat. Highly recommend!

Attentive, takes the time to.listen and work with you, instead of trying to hurry to the next patient.

I saw Dr Burklow for the first time yesterday. I have had a very negative experience, and most recently and argument, with my previous long time doctor. I decided to change and Dr Burklow was recommended by a friend. I could not be happier with my first appt. He was prompt, professional and his attitude was quite refreshing! He spent time LISTENING to ME about things that should have and could have been fixed long ago by my previous doctor AND WERENT. We made a plan TOGETHER to get my needs met. He was down to earth, treated me as equal, and human. He talked to me and not at me. I was in and out within and hour with all this progress and a pep in my step about the possibilities of finally getting some answers and a plan! If you are looking for a new GP, definitely consider giving Dr Burklow a try. It was only my first visit, but I can’t tell that how he protrayed himself was genuine and sincere. *These are things that are important in a doctor* Also, be honest with him, he welcomes… it!!! I will be recommending him to everyone I know!
