Dr. Jason W Caldwell, DO

Dr. Caldwell is excited to be at the Medical University of South Carolina. Originally from North Carolina, Dr. Caldwell attended NC State University before studying Immunology at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. He completed medical school at Touro University and Osteopathic Medicine, followed by pediatric residency and a fellowship in Allergy/Immunology at the University of South Florida. He lives with his wife, two boys, and their two Labrador retrievers.

Dr. Caldwell spent 15 years at Wake Forest University School of Medicine, where he was dedicated to an academic career focused on clinical medicine and medical education. He has enjoyed training learners at multiple stages of medical training and is committed to providing comprehensive care for Allergy/Immunology conditions. His special interests include immune deficiency and immune dysregulation, and he treats a wide range of allergic diseases. These include asthma, allergic rhinitis, eczema, food allergies, …urticaria, stinging insect allergies, drug allergies, sinus disease, and other Allergy/Immunology-related conditions.

The clinic offers services such as allergy testing, food allergy testing, allergy shots, drug allergy testing, food and drug challenges, and comprehensive immune evaluations. Dr. Caldwell strives to deliver care based on the latest scientific evidence, ensuring that patients and their families are actively involved in the medical decision-making process. His ultimate goal is always to prioritize the best interests of his patients. He is passionate about his field and dedicated to helping individuals with Allergy/Immunology conditions.
