A New Mexico native, Dr Chapman grew up in Santa Fe, the oldest of two boys. He graduated from Santa Fe High School before attending the University of New Mexico on full scholarship where he obtained Bachelors of Science degrees in both Biology and Psychology.
Dr Chapman earned his DDS from the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine, in Denver, CO. This is where he met his wife, Katie. Upon graduation, Dr Chapman returned to New Mexico to practice dentistry in public health. There he was able to provide dental care for people whose dental needs far exceed access to care.Â
