Dr. Jason Aaron Chen, DO

I would like to share how much Dr. Chen has helped me literally save my life. I had been suffering for years with joint pain, tiredness, shortness of breath, and swelling. From my first meeting with Dr. Chen, I was amazed at his insight after a comprehensive and careful review of my complex medical and family history to ask the right questions none of the many top clinicians from top institutions I had seen had asked leading him to the right diagnosis which he was further able to confirm through lab testing and imaging. He thinks outside the box with creativity, innovation, and passion giving the best medical care. I felt better immediately the same day I saw him and started the treatment he recommended My test results normalized and continue to improve with each visit. Thanks to Dr. Chen, I am cutting down on my body fat, building lean muscle mass, and feeling better than I have ever felt in my life. Dr. Chen is a consummate professional, super nice and knowledgeable, and I… love the time, attention, and care he gives me not just during but after each encounter. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

Dr. Chen is the best doctor my family has ever known. We would definitely recommend him as a family doctor!! Very kind, extremely professional, smart, and an amazing teacher and patient advocate for all ages. My family and I have been very well taken care of by him and we wouldn’t want our care from anyone else.

I most highly recommend Dr. Jason Chen as my doctor! I saw him after consulting many doctors. Nobody was as knowledgeable, kind, and effective as he was and thank God he diagnosed and very quickly treated a bad systemic infection that was causing me a lot of suffering. He is the most helpful, knowledgeable, compassionate, and excellent doctor I have ever met! I do want to say the urgent care model has 1 doctor taking care of more than 60 patients. It’s really insane and stressful for patients because we need to spend a lot of time waiting to be seen. For the doctors, it is really clear how that environment makes it almost impossible to deliver personalized care although I am impressed with Dr. Chen’s ability to do so for me and many others on an insanely busy day. He made me feel understood, advocated, and cared for which in itself is great medicine. As a healthcare professional myself, I have great empathy for doctors like Dr. Chen who are working in this kind of intense environment… which I’ve seen is further challenged by short staffing. Dr. Jason Chen, thank you so much for your help and all the time you spent taking care of me. I really appreciate all the care you provide me and thank you for changing my life forever.

I have no complains about this doctor. Very kind, excellent professional and trustworthy.

I don't even think he's an actual doctor. I literally reported him to the American Medical Association because he does not seem qualified to assess, diagnose or treat patients. I literally waited for over four hours to see a doctor for a simple laceration. He finally gets to the room... I needed stitches which he apparently didn't know how to do. He sent me to the ER and the ER staff mocked him for sending me there because it was such a simple laceration to repair. He's either incredibly lazy or incompetent. Either way, look at the schedule and steer clear if he's working.

He is not longer working at Glen Burnie, MD location. Best Doctor I had in my entire 49 y/o of life. Please let me know if someone knows about his new location immediately. I really appreciate it!!!

Don’t bother with this doctor unless you have a simple problem requiring a simple solution. He is quick to pray over you and give you a false sense of competency and compassion. But it’s just that, false. He talks a good game but runs out of enthusiasm when he cannot figure out what to do and look like a savior. You would be better off hitting up an urgent care.

He is one of the most caring doctors still left in the medical field. He truly tries to heal your mind body and soul.

This doctor initially comes across strong and competent, but that only lasts for a few appointments. He really only seems to be able to deal with simple issues and fades quickly when presented with something complex or requires real support. He is quick to refer, offer acupuncture/osteo manipulation, or a blessing over you, but lacked real insight and patience once I didn't get better on his timetable. My last appointment he left me laying on a table in just a gown and walked out to never return. He never followed through with what he said he wanted to do nor bothered to return my calls. I ended up having untreated Lyme and Babesia. This finally diagnosed by another PCP who really listened and connected the dots in one appointment. Dr Chen was full of "we are going to get you better", but not full of the experience or expertise to make that happen. And no patient should have to lay on a table wondering where the doctor went. It was his nurse that finally told me he wasn't coming… back and that I should go home. Don't waste your time.
