Dr. Jason S Cheng, MD

I had a serious neck spine injury and this doctor did not help me at all. Fast forward to a few years later and I found a doctor who finally performed a cervical spine fusion and I am out of pain and feeling like brand new. God was watching out for me to keep me away from this doctor.

I saw Dr Jason Cheng recently for cervical spine herniated discs, pinched nerves; and cervical spine stenosis. Although I was consulting him for a second opinion he demanded I have an EMG Test by a neurologist. The EMG Test is a very outdated test and it inflamed my neck pain even more. Although he never looked at both of my MRI results even though I had dropped the reports off and the images he never paid attention to the MRI I had two years ago; nor had he received the completed EMG test results, he wrote a completely false note to my GP doctor that he had "examined me." He looked at my hands, not my neck. He also thought I was only seeking surgery when I was consulting him for a complete diagnosis and treatment plan as I've been suffering from these problems for two years, but this last flare up has taken me off work for over 60 days now due to pain and my allergy to opioids and morphine. I would prefer the treatment plan involve a complete diagnosis, and possibly pain management… and physical therapy to get the use of my right arm; shoulder; and reduce neck pain to get my life back. Unfortunately Dr. Cheng dismissed me with no diagnosis or plan. He is very cold and uncaring. His attitude was similar to 'oh you're in pain oh well it stinks to be you, doesn't it?there's nothing I can do for you'. I gave a star for the office staff as they were very nice and helpful but if you're planning to see Dr. Cheng please stay away and don't waste your time and for heavens sake don't allow him to do surgery on you. He doesn't even pay attention to your all your records as I've seen more of my own MRI films on disc than he has. Dr. Cheng really doesn't seem to care, so I don't even know why he became a doctor if he doesn't want to help people. Add to list
