I was having alot of pain in my hands and arms for about a month off and on Thought it was the carpal tunnel issues.The day before I came in I had taken my grandaughter to fort ricky game farm .We had such a blast.She was so happy ,kept saying poppi look at this and that , while she was checking all the animals out.Was a great day.The next day I was working in my yard it was hot.I started feeling really off.My hands and arms started hurting again and I was just winded.My wife said you need to go inside its to hot.When I went in I could feel the pain going from hands ,up my arms across my upper back and chest.I started thinking this is no carpal tunnel .I looked up heart attack online and sure enough it described same way I was feeling.The pain was getting worse.I started to loose my vision and felt like a truck was on my chest smothering me.Yelled out to my wife please call 911 I think Iam having heart attack.So the parametics show up , they did what they could on testing but 1 of the… machines wernt working.The parametic said sir I think u need to go to ER.Something is wrong and I cant figure it out with this equipment.I asked if my wife could take me.He said sir I believe its your heart and you need nitro and I cant give you that , if your wife drives there.You need this now and should go to ER.So they helped me get to the truck.Got the nitro.Believe this , It was the longest 10 min ride ever.I felt like it was my time.The pressure I felt on my chest and back was just unbearable.My vision was about gone ,all hazy and cloudy white .I began to pray and felt this is it.Was praying for my wife and family .Asking God to take care of them .Then just as I felt like I was taking my last breaths .I remember hearing parametic saying stay with me man.Telling the driver we gotta hurry .As my vision was just about gone and the pain was getting worse.I just prayed God if this is my time ,please forgive me for all my sins and have mercy on my soul.Then I started hearing the words .Its not your time ,I started to remember the day before ,my grandaughter at the farm, I could just hear her voice saying poppi ,look look at the animals ,and remembered the laughs , how much love was felt on our family day.Tears rolled and I prayed God Its not my time, I have people who need me.Im not ready ,have mercy and save me.I got this burst of energy thru all this pain I was in.Parametic looked down at me and said come on ,hold on your gonna make it.Lets go lets go.he said to the driver. We got in the ER and it got crazy fast.Dr Costa was there by the grace of God.He started working on me running tests, blood work and so forth.I swear this pain wss like nothing I had ever felt.I said Dr.please I need something ,or just take me out I cant take this pain.Dr.Costa kept me calm and assured me hes gonna find out whats going on.Again just as I felt I had enough.Dr.Costa said I found it.I need your consent ,I found the blockage we are running out of time ,we gotta go right now.Ill explain on the way,Do I have consent ,.I said lets do it.We were in the OR pretty quick and Dr.Costa and his team worked fast and very professional.During surgey I thought I wasnt gonna make it.But Dr.Costa knew what to do.He was encouraging ,professional and calm .The surgery went well.Then I was in recovery.He came to check up on me after.Hes like I gotta tell ya , You had a 100% blockage ,no blood was pumping thru other side of heart .Thats why you had all this pain ,and he explained it all in detail.He said not gonna lie you had less than a minute left.Angels are watching over you.Im glad your doing better and recovering well.Let me know if you need anything ,rest ,Ill be back to check up on you.I have to say Dr.Costa literally saved my life .He is a amazing doctor and if you need a cardio doctor and get Dr.Costa feel blessed because he is very professional,knows his field and is the calmest , most encouraging Doctor I have ever met.Thank you Dr.Jason Costa for saving my lif
