Dr. Jason Lee Crowell, MD

I was under the impression he truly cared about his patients but the truth is he lacks empathy and simply does not care about their well-being. I'm terminal ill due to an extremely rare disease called MSA. He is one of the few doctors that treat this. He dismissed me from his practice because I missed a few appointments. I missed the last 2 due to complications of MSA. My BP was extremely low and I could not hardly walk due to being so dizzy and weak. I did email them since I can barely speak when I feel this bad. They responded and rescheduled the appointment. The next appointment I was systematic again. My husband called to explain I could not possibly make it as I could not even get dressed. Unfortunately, I do not know how I will feel from one day to the next. Considering he is the doctor he should understand this better than most. Dr. Crowell gives me 16 botox injections every three months to help with my pain. This is the appointment he canceled and dismissed me from his… practice. He did this without providing any additional information such as a referral. It normally takes months to get an appointment with a new doctor which means I will be in pain for months. It will also be challenging to find a provider who knows how to treat me properly. I'm so very upset about this especially since I did email/call when I could not make it because of this horrible disease. I think Dr. Crowell is heartless and what he has done to a dying patient is simply awful. Extremely unprofessional. If you are looking for a kind, compassionate, and understanding doctor I would highly recommend looking elsewhere. I was literally dismissed with zero concerns about my well-being. He did offer to refill my prescriptions once for a 30 day supply. Meanwhile I am completely lost. I have no idea how to find a new doctor that has knowledge about MSA. I will be in extreme pain until I find a doctor that can treat me and is able to give me my injections. Thanks Dr. Crowell for the refills. I appreciate it!!! Please if you are terminally ill or need extra support from your doctor do not go to this practice. Truly the worst doctor I have ever had. Unbelievable how uncaring a man of medicine can be to dismiss a terminal patient because of missed appointments. I guess the money is more important!!!
