Dr. Jason Kelly Demattia, MD

Office is run by his assistants. I've only seen him once since he bought out Dr Murrillo. Getting prescriptions filled are most frustrating . Have been going to this office over 20 years, and have mostly the same prescriptions the whole time . Was in office 2 months ago , asked to have refills, and they said no problem but didn't do it . Called them back , they refilled all but one . Now , more phone calls , they still haven't refilled , and have not called back. Closed today, because ? I need my medication, . This is ridiculous , nothing has changed , other than their failure to continue patient care.

People are busy too! My It’s been an hour and we still haven’t seen the doctor. Why his his time valuable and mine is not?

I had my first visit with the Dr. I thought they where great. Everyone seems so very nice and Dr. Jason Demattia was very nice and to tell the truth I thought I had finally found a real doctor that cared. I was so exceited to finally find a good Doctor who took time to listen. I am very glad he will be my pcp. Thank You Dr. Jason Demattia for seeing me.

Dr. Jason is a great Doctor and I like him very much as a doctor. Like many others on here his staff is pretty horrible. I am sure it is hard to find a good staff in Tomball, TX but it will continue to cost this practice to lose patients. After about 8 years of just putting up with it as a patient that now includes me as someone that is moving on.

Great doctors, great staff, will try their best to work you in if you don't have an appointment.

$25 charge to obtain Prior Authorization for Rx and it always takes them WEEKS.

I like this doctor, but his staff is SO HORRIBLE that I am switching to a new dr today. They are rude, don't return calls, and I'm just not confident that I will be getting a quality level of care. They seem really incompetent. I'm also pretty sure they lied to me about contacting my insurer regarding a prescription. When I personally called my insurer I received an entirely different (and much more believable) response. Its a shame because the dr seems great. Just can't trust his staff. That's a deal breaker for me.

first visit-- doctor was not there second visit--did not have appointment and would not see patient, went to ER. 3rd visit- for blood work. expressed concern about 2nd visit, said the real reason was doctor was not there. 4th visit- picked up results and went a different doctor went to refill prescription and pharmacy for 2nm month and they cancelled it.

margaret and i were looking for new dr, ours moved. Made appointment to see Dr. Arrived gave medicare and aarp supplement card to desk. She said i owed another $140 to see Dr. My understanding supplement paid the other 20%. After discussion it was determined that the aarp supplement was under the medicare card and she did not see it, and she returned the $140. The dr was not there but a very nice lady talked to us and told us to come in later for blood work. a couple of days Margaret had a severe infection on hand. thumb blistered up twice size.red going up hand. Went to office. and was told she did not have an appointment and could not see the dr or have any antibiotics . Found another down the road and was treated. Week later went back for blood work. At that time we were told by lady doing blood work the reason they could treat her hand because the dr was not there that day. Both margaret and i received phone calls that the results were back Her appointment was scheduled for 8:30… and mine for 10:00. We called back to see if we could get them closer together. First they said no until i told we would cancel both and reschedule another day, the agreed to reschedule hers at 9:30. We arrived at 9:30 and they said she did not show up for her 8:30 appointment and she owed them $140 She told them she had paid by credit card and they seem to accept that. The also said my appointment was at 9:30 not 10:00. By that time i was upset and asked if i could talk to the dr and the said the dr was not in today. We took our blood work results with no consultation and left

I do not like going to doctors. This doctor is very understanding and caring. I am very comfortable with him. Thank you!
