Dr. Jason Ivy Dupree

I have been a patient about 15 years. Always have scheduled teeth cleaning about once a year. Regular exams for any needed dental work——almost always nothing needed. When something is needed, I am scheduled at my requested period of time. Very rarely (once or twice) needed something suddenly, was seen immediately and issue resolved. Fair price, less than some of my friends pay in town. Great, long term staff. Great location. Feel my dental care is in good hands.

Too bad you aren't required to leave your name! But, I know who you are, and that you'd be the last person to put your name on a review. Too bad you leave out the facts and use pixy dust for your story. Let's set the record straight. You came in, we saw you for an exam and x-rays, diagnosed some issues and tried to set you back up for treatment. You did not schedule an appointment and then 1 year later ,(yes, that's right, 1year later) you called stating you were hurting. We got you in for an emergency exam that day, and gave you antibiotics to combat the infection, which, you had to take for 7 days before I could treat you, hence the appointment 1 week later. No pain killers given because you stated you had some. Then, I guess, you and your wife got mad because I wouldn't give you more pain killers on top of what you already had. You were refunded money, and told to find someone who could get you in quicker, if that was what you wanted. I hope you found someone to give you… the drugs you were seeking - you will never get them here. All of this is documented and saved. Now, the truth has been told, sadly for you. Good day, good ole boy.

Went to Dr. Dupree because from what I had read, he seemed like a good ole Christian boy from the country with good credentials. First of all, any dentist I've ever been to for the first time, the first thing they do is clean your teeth. Not here, wasn't even mentioned. All they did was a jillion x-rays and then they send me up front to this very well scripted receptionist that hands me an estimate of over $20,000 to do my dental work. Well, I paid them whatever I owed for all of the x-rays and I went on my way. Months later I start having severe pain in two of my teeth, so I made an appointment and went in this morning. They x-rayed the two teeth and informed me that both teeth were cracked and I needed a root canal in each tooth and they both would have to be crowned. I knew they wouldn't be doing the work today, so I asked Dr. Dupree was there anything they could do today to give me some relief because I'm in excruciating pain. I haven't slept in two nights, my whole face is… hurting, it's just unbearable pain. I wasn't wanting pain meds, I wanted numbing, maybe a temporary filling, anything. All he said was we need to get you back in here ASAP. His ASAP was over a week later. That's the soonest they could see me, and wouldn't even schedule me for then until I paid them a $350 deposit. And I was expected to just suffer until then. He offered no suggestions to help me feel better, not even an over the counter suggestion. No concern whatsoever for my well being. Obviously he's never had a toothache. After getting back home and in obvious pain, my wife in disbelief from what I had told her, called back up to Dr. Dupree's office pleading with them to do something for me, to no avail. They wouldn't do anything for me pain wise and that was the soonest they were gonna get me in. Does he do good work? He probably does. Does he care about his patients? Not a lick.

Dr.Dupree is the best dentist ever.
