He is unprofessional scoundrel, he should have his license revoked and be deported back to whatever island he spawned from.

PA prescribed a medication to my 8 year old son and cause severe depression and was not able to contact anyone at the office. Phone always rang. I had to go to another doctor to take care of my son....the doctor still cannot get the records from Dr. Evans office.

Dr. Evans' staff are unhelpful as well unhelpful. They do Dr. Evans' practice a disservice.

this doctor is not professional and treats patients like their not important. Staff members are the same or worse. Dr leaves office they dont bother calling to let us know, they wait til we show up to say dr is no longer seeing pts today. when we complain they give you the cold shoulder and respond with attitude. As for dr, i dont understand how he diagnoses a pt w out talking to them or asking parent questions on childs behavioral. He automatically prescribes what he wants and leaves room without explaining himself. Im seeking another opinion and never seeing this man again.

Doctor is ignorant and couldn't care less about his patients. I'd never recommend him.

*So, after 2 hours of waiting I get called in, the medical assistant doesn't let me bring my water bottle with me, like I always do, or let my mother come in with me. Evans makes me wait more in the hallway. I walk in his office as my mother sits outside. I sit down in his office quietly* Evans: Hi, how are you? Me: *nods my head up & down quietly saying* Hey. Evans: That was kind of rude. You're suppose to say "Hi" back. *I sit there quietly, Evans stands up & opens his door* Evans: You're being rude to me. And I remember you from last time. You're the rude one. Please leave my office. *Me thinking the first time Evans and I met, I never said a word throughout our meeting because I was nervous & had anxiety, and he was okay with that. He also let me bring my water bottle & my mother.* Me: Are you serious? Evans: Yes. Please leave. Me: I've been waiting here for 2 hours with my mother patiently just to see you. 2 hours. Evans: Leave my office or I'm going to have to… call the cops. *Still sitting quietly, hurt how this man is treating me. I got up & leave almost bursting into tears yet holding them in quietly* I recommend NOBODY see this man. Nobody deserves to be judged nor treated this way.

First I had to wait about an hour and 45 minutes in his waiting room. Then when he finally strolled out and said he was ready we had a 5 minute conversation about my anxiety attacks and he suggested a medication I recognized the name of it as my sister is an RN. It is a heavy anti-psychotic medication. I told him I didn't want to take something so powerful and that perhaps a lighter med, even a benzo might help. He told me that he was the doctor and had a degree from Harvard and that I shouldn't question his opinion. Then he said he likes to give out that particular medication as it seems to help with many such cases. I said I had heard of it as being a very powerful medication and I felt I wasn't having that severe of a problem. He told me to leave and go see someone else if I wished but that was his opinion. I said fine walked out and made an appointment with a doc in Corpus who gave me Klonopin, faxed the script right down to my pharmacy in San Benito... its helped and I haven't… experienced any major side effects, with better sleep too. This guy is rude.

First of, this Doc does not provide therapy, so don't expect a deep exchange of communication or deep mental probing. He only does evaluations to see if you are a good fit for medication/vitamins that can help you improve your situation. This is why his consults are short and to the point; usually lasting about 15 minutes. That being said, the doctor is OK. The overall experience as a patient, on the other hand, is horrible. The wait time to get seen is about 2 hours , and that's when you arrive on time for your scheduled appointment. The staff is always hiding in the back, leaving the front desk empty for extended periods of time. The people that handle the billing don't know what they're doing and are not sure how to process payments efficiently and in a timely manner. They also seem to know very little about insurance, copays, and insurance processing. In addition if you need to reach the doctor, there is little to no chance you will get a response to any of your questions or… concerns even though they have an email contact, text option, and office personnel. Your message will not be delivered or answered. If you need the doctor to to re-write your prescription to an alternative due to say an allergy, it's too expensive, or your insurance won't cover it - forget about it. You'll have to wait until your next face to face appointment to get anything resolved. Also if you need a doctor pre-authorization clearance for any of your medications through your insurance, expect at least a week or longer before the billing staff gets anything faxed over to your insurance. Again, the doctor is OK, but the overall customer/patient experience is horrible and almost non-existent. The office needs a new, more experienced office manager running things.
