Dr. Jason Florimonte, MD

My wife an I get an annual preventative screening every year. We are new to the area and selected this doctor listed our insurance network. You have to go for a new patient establishment visit before they schedule an annual. They do not tell you about new patient fees when you schedule the appointment, or during check-in/check-out. They code the annual visit as part of the new patient visit (not covered by insurance) and charge $500+ (which would be covered by insurance if coded correctly). The doctor is accepting new patients but established patients cannot get an appointment for months. Find a different doctor with better ethics.

Can’t get any one to call you back or respond when you have questions

Dr Florimonte is one of those rare doctors that takes his time with a patient, just does not hear your words, but listens. He is compassionate and kind, intelligent and gentle. Central Florida needs more doctors of his caliber.

spent considerable time reviewing medical history & specific concerns

I had gone through cancer treatment at a large medical center in Honolulu from 2008-present. Even though I'm followed by my oncologist, I needed a family doctor for overall health screenings & any acute illness. Dr. Florimonte took his time to review my medical history, and let me know how what I should do for my overall health. I've never had to wait long to make an appointment & have always been seen on time.

Hi,I visited Dr Florimonte for the first time in early Sept. He put me in for blood work and said he would call after he got results. Tuesday the next week he said. I got results mailed to me the next week. The results were not very good and I have no meds left. So, I called him, and called him. I left messages and tel numbers over and over.But still no reply. I will start the process over with another doctor, since I just moved to Hi. Thought you should know about this POOR conduct and service.
