Dr. Jason R Friedlander, MD

Always friendly, patient with our screaming toddler, and fun to be around. We always leave feeling that our questions have been heard, answered and taken into consideration. He's fantastic!

Dr. Friedlander has been our children's pediatrician for over 10 years. He is an amazing physician and our family is lucky to have found him and the Lakeside Pediatrics office. We've had multiple visits over the years for both well visits and significant medical issues. He is knowledgable, straight forward and great with the kids.

To be fair my issue has more to do with Lakeside Pediatrics than Dr. Friedlander himself. Overall I have had a hugely unsatisfactory experience with this office. My child has been a patient with Dr. Friedlander for about a year and a half and every visit or phone call has left me feeling uninformed and there was absolutely a lack of any kind of caring manner. I've brought my child in for immunizations and was given absolutely no information on the vaccines, I was not even informed of what immunizations he was given much less any information on reactions associated with them. They literally walked in, stuck my child with some needles, and then told me I could go. I have called concerned about my child excessively vomiting and was told I would receive a call back within 20 minutes. I waited for over an hour, called them back myself and was then told that I would have to wait another hour and a half for a call so my wait time was close to 2 and a half hours versus the 20 minutes I… was originally told. I've been concerned about my child's eating habits, it is way beyond just being a picky eater and I've expressed my concern that he may have a texture aversion or he may need some more serious help ( I have done a lot of my own research on picky eaters and have tried nearly every method to help before calling my pediatrician) and I was spoken to as though I were an imbecile and every other time my concerns have just been disregarded and the situation is continually getting worse. I absolutely do not recommend Lakeside Pediatrics. The only positives I've experienced have been the short waiting time and the close proximity to my home, but I'll easily give those up for a more caring staff.
