Dr. Jason Moss Fritzhand, DO

I am insanely disappointed. I booked an in person appointment with Dr Fritzhand THREE weeks ago. The day before the appointment, I was told it had to be a video visit or else the next available date was a month from now. (I was also told all his Friday afternoon appointments are via video…yet they still originally booked it as in person!) I reluctantly agreed to a video visit. I logged in 15 minutes prior to my start time. Four minutes after my scheduled appointment time, I received a text that he was running late and that the appointment would start 10 minutes after it was originally set for. I waited 15 MORE minutes, before calling his office. No one knew where he was. Told me to keep waiting. After waiting 50 minutes, i told the office that this was unacceptable. They offered to reschedule. Not interested. Waste of time. Ridiculously unprofessional. He was referred to me my another doctor and personal friend of his, whom I will advise of this horrible experience. … He was probably driving to the Hamptons and stuck in traffic. I should have read the reviews before booking.

I had two appointments with Dr. Fritzhand that I arrived on time to be told there would be an hour wait. I left both appointments without being seen. Dr. Fritzhand has no respect for patients time and needs to better manage his schedule. Would he see a patient who arrived an hour late probably not. Find another Dr.

I’ve seen Dr Fritzhand on several occasions and he has been knowledgeable, helpful, straightforward and best of all, responsive to my medical condition. He listened to me and treated me appropriately and responded to me on the portal expeditiously. In addition, he recommended a specific type of physical therapy for my scoliosis that has been very helpful. I’m very happy to have him as my doctor

I have been seeing Dr Fritzhand for over 10 years and I have had nothing but positive experiences with him.He is very patient, listens carefully, and never seems rushed even though I know he has a very heavy workload. He thinks outside the box and comes up with alternative solutions other than just prescribing medication and physical therapy. He really helped me with the terrible back pains I used to suffer from. I highly recommend him.

This "doctor", is more concerned with his bottom line than he is his patient's well-being. I would recommend you find another Dr. I've gotten good care at Langone, I'm surprised he's part of the team there.

Terrible bedside manner; poor followup

Came in for hamstring pain - told me it was sciatica when I didn't fit the symptoms. Chiropractor was able to set me right later. Was charged over $500 for the visit, Insurance covered more than half, but I was still left with over $200 for a visit that didn't do anything helpful. DO NOT VISIT.

Mr Jason Fitzhand does not have professional ethics a doctor, and unfortunately, I've met with him twice, first time was a consultation type of meeting, then is at the second time, he was not organized, but not at all, he did not have the MRI results ready and handy, while they were faxed to him already, I had to convince him to go check if his staff did indeed receive them; he went to search for them to finally come back with them, then he had to read them quickly, and give me vague explanations in few words, which made me ask him a bunch of question so he could detail them to me. Few days later, I called his office and asked his secretary to have him call me, since I had to speak to him regarding my case, no contact from him took place, I waited few days then called him again, I left 6 messages, in a frame of time of around 11 days, when he called me finally, he said he received so far only 1 single message, while later one of his staff admitted to me that someone was lying,… and that Mr Fitzhand does have access 100% to his messages every minute and each day. after we've spoken, he was supposed to get back to me with a response regarding my case, he never touched base, he made me waste 24 days without any or even a response regarding the same issue, so to say the messaging with no response from him took place twice. In case of emergency, this is not a doctor a patient may rely on. A true doctor is always organized and ready to receive his patients with their file's records handy and reviewed ahead of the appointment, more importantly, to remain available and reliable for follow ups. I DO NOT RECOMMEND MR JASON FITZHAND AS A DOCTOR TO ANYONE.

Dr Fritzhand was understanding, very responsive to my needs and delivered an excellent prognosis.
