I recently had an unfortunate encounter with Dr. Jason Gallina that left me totally dissatisfied with his level of care and expertise. I have been to see this doctor twice and shame on me for giving it a second go. The first time he made me wait 2 hours past the time of my appointment… and the second time was slightly under the 2 hour mark. I got the impression that this man takes pride in using big words and speaking down to his patients. He took a look at my scans and managed to display his perfect knowledge when it came to memorizing every bone in the human spine, but failed to make any effort trying to help me understand my condition. It was painfully obvious that he lacked the necessary expertise to interpret my images. He barely took notice of anything I had to say and spent the entire visit speaking over me while staring at his computer screen. I expected to receive reliable information regarding my condition and treatment options. It is evident that Dr. Gallina’s limited… understanding hindered his ability to provide a proper diagnosis and develop an effective treatment plan. I strongly advise anyone considering going to this man to seek alternative options for orthopedic care. Find someone who will offer else who can offer you the expertise and respect you deserve.

Dr. Gallina treats his patients as if there was no one else to see. He answers all questions and concerns during the appointment and through email as well. A truly caring Doctor.

Dr. Gallina performed surgery on my Mom when no other doctor in NJ would consider her as a candidate for surgery. With no comorbidities and 3 prior (unsuccessful) spinal surgeries, Dr. Gallina said he could do the procedure and assured us of a successful outcome. At age 80, my Mom is no longer complaining of back pain and is doing very well after surgery with Dr. Gallina and by God's grace. What other surgeon you know of who calls nightly to check on their patients' and follow-up when he says he will ... Dr. Gallina does!!! Dr. Gallina is the best spinal surgeon ever!!! Kudos to Katie, his assistance, for making it all happen and her sunny disposition.

I had a long history of low back pain.i saw lots of doctors who said nothing is wrong with me its all in my head.Medications,accupuncture,massages and physical theraphy failed. l finally did a research for a Doctor,l found Dr Gallina,WOW! he explained my surgery,l felt comfortable and the best thing l did was the surgery- for me he is my earthly angel whose hands were blessed to help me walk again.l highly recommend Dr Gallina

Having spine surgery is never enjoyable but Dr. Gallina made it as comfortable as possible. I always saw him(not a nurse or other office member) He was easily accessible and explained everything to me. I never felt rushed and he answered all of my questions. Thanks Dr. G!

I recently had a long history of low back pain(actually butt pain) and leg pain. I saw alot of doctors about this problem all of whom recommended surgery. I finally had surgery with Dr. Gallina because of his bed side manner. Not only did he explain everything that was going to happen, but he was always accessible. He always returned my phone call(never a nurse or other office staff) and he genuinely seemed to care. I highly recommend him.
