Dr. Jason Robert Gee, MD

Great doctor

As nurse I found Dr Gee to be an extremely knowledgeable and skilled physician. His kind, empathetic and caring manner is more than appreciated while going through and follow up of a health crisis. You know that you are in good hands when fellow nurses recommend him to care for their loved ones and friends with serious urological problems.

Dr Gee is not only a skilled surgeon and practitioner, he is a very kind, compassionate and caring man. It says something when he is “the nurses choice” ~ trusting and recommending him to care for family and friends with urological issues. He is easy to talk to and is empathetic to his patients issues and concerns. I am forever grateful to Dr Gee.

My husband died under Dr. Gee's watch. He was diagnosed with bladder cancer. Dr. Gee and Dr. Libertino appeared so confident that my husband would recover and thrive. He's gone - he left behind me, his son and daughter who miss him desperately. Dr. Gee never returned my phone calls. I left four messages begging for him to call me back. When he finally called me I told him my husband was not doing well. He needed to be seen. Dr. Gee assured me my husband was doing fine and recovering as expected Two days later my husband had a massive stroke. He was taken to the hospital by ambulance where the doctor there discovered that my husband had a major brain tumor and blot clot. While my husband was at Emerson Hospital, no Pet scan was ever ordered. I called Dr. Gee from the emergency room to tell him that my husband was taken to the emergency room. At that time, I had no idea the extent of his diagnosis. I thought he may of been dehydrated and was finally going to get the care he needed.… Dr. Gee actually answered my call. When I told him my husband was in the emergency room, his response was, okay call me Monday and we'll set up an appointment!! My husband was airflighted to Mass General and died 4 days later. I have never once heard back from Dr. Gee or Dr. Libertino. Heartbroken -

Was in the ER unexpectedly twice in one week. Called Dr Gee's office 3 times to ask if we should cancel a test he ordered since the ER did the test as part of their workup but they didn't know what exactly he ordered so the ER doc recommended calling his office to find out if the views they got were sufficient or not & weather or not I should cancel the test he scheduled. Neither Dr. Gee or his office had the courtesy of calling me back and time had run out to where I was not going to be able to give my employer a heads up of whether I was going to be out of the office so I cancelled both my test and my appt with Dr. Gee. The initial appt I did have was VERY rushed and didn't feel like he was listening either. Stay away from this place, they have no consideration for nor do they care about their patients.

A disgrace to Emerson hospital. Lacks compassion for patients. Spends minimal time discussing real reason for visit or even review of test results. No cancer found but because he was referred continues to order more tests after 8 months of seeing him. Go see a real doctor. One you can trust with your care.

I have nothing but praise for Dr Gee; he basically saved my life!

This Doctor should not be Practicing. I am warning all of you. Seek another Doctor. He LACKS Medical awareness of the HEALTHCARE of patient. He and his office kept putting of TEST that were NEEDED for my mother after her surgery and we seek to go to another HOSPITAL and BETTER team of DOCTORS at Dana-Farber who are more knowledgeable and who actually CARE. Dr. Gee is a joke and cannot be trusted. He may look like he is concerned but don't let that fool you. GET OUT of his office and Go to DANA-FARBER where they ACTUALLY KNOW ABOUT CANCER!!!!!

this office is horrible.. really.. my mother has cancer they removed it.. 3 month follow up they find spots and need to do biopsy.. been 3 weeks no dam call for appointment do get surgery set up.. .. my mother has called. still no call back.. WATCH OUT.. GET SECOND OPINION!
