Jason Christopher George, DO

Jason C. George, DO, is a nephrologist (kidney doctor) who specializes in treating chronic kidney disease, end-stage kidney disease and hypertension. He also provides care for people with kidney stones, electrolyte abnormalities, polycystic kidney disease and autoimmune kidney disease. He serves as the director of the autoimmune nephritis clinic at Geisinger in Danville, a collaborative clinic between nephrology and rheumatology. His clinical expertise includes managing complex conditions such as acute kidney injury, proteinuric kidney disease and lupus nephritis.Dr. George earned his medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. He then completed his residency in general internal medicine and a fellowship in nephrology at Geisinger Medical Center, where he served as chief fellow.
