Dr. Jason Henninger, DO, DO

He was my pediatrician whenever I was a young teen after my normal one retired. I went to him for anxiety as a 16yr old and told him the only reason I waited this long was because my parents didn’t want me on medication originally but after pleading with my parents they agreed to let me ask him about it, and instead of helping me, he prescribed me a $120 Christian 6 cd set on tackling debt, cause him and his wife used it with great result, and he actually wrote it on a prescription pad. In case your wondering why, it’s because one of my anxieties was about money, but not debt. I ended up getting addicted to painkillers after that, because it was the only thing that helped with the anxiety not his 6 cd set. The worst part, I told him that I’m not religious and he said they don’t bring up the Christian stuff until the end, as if it makes it any better. My drs since can’t believe he still has his license.

Cares about his patients. Explains stuff in detail and answers any and all questions. Exceptional doctor. Glad I chose him.

Great doctor, but some policies are incredibly frustrating. Imagine having to rearrange your schedule (while holding three jobs between you and your spouse) every couple of weeks so that you can pick up a piece of paper that his office won't mail, fax, or call in. Doesn't feel very accommodating, to say the least. If you're willing to invest that time and gas money, go for it. Should really find a PA if they are that overworked.

Dr.Henninger takes adequate time to listen to all your health care concerns. He is concerned about treating mind, body, and spirit and prescribes appropriate treatments for the problem at hand. Dr. Henninger also offers preventitive recommendations which is a change from other physicians. He always follows-up with test results and treatments. His staff remains courteous and prompt with scheduling and calls. Dr. Henninger cares about his patients and it definitely shows!

The office staff are very freindy and take care of what is needed. Dr. Henninger is a kind and caring doctor. He is in no hurry, he listen to you and assist you in what ever your issue or consern is. He truly is a small town doctor. I wish there were more doctor around like him.
