Dr. Jason Gregory Hogge, MD

His friendly demeanor has always put me at ease. I've never had any anxiety about whether I could speak to him about any medical issues. I've always felt that he heard me when I've expressed any preferences for treatment and my preferences for long term quality of life issues. I consider him a most valued family doctor and someone I think of as an advocate and a friend.

When bringing my daughter to Dr. Hogge for her well checks, he doesn't just exam the patient and leave. He asks lots of questions about how mom is doing, how are other family members adjusting, etc.. He cares for our baby by caring about her whole family. Exceptional doctor and I trust him completely!

How often has a Dr. said that to you after he had addressed the issue that your appointment was for? I'm a nurse, and really appreciate that he respects my knowledge and ideas, but quick to explain anything that is new to me.

Dr. Jason Hogge is old-fashioned in that you are not a number, or a file. He gets to know your family, and when he comes in, he relaxes and focuses on you alone. I met him when he was brand new and my doctor was out of town, and he ordered an emergency c-section. I wasn't happy about surgery with someone I did not know - but he earned my respect. Now he is everyone's doctor in our family. He had to stop accepting new patients in less than a year - and I'm sure that is because his type is rare now-adays. If you are able to get him as your primary doctor, you are in good hands.
