I completed my bachelor's degree in sociology with a concentration in health and medicine at Northwestern University in 2018. I was a student athlete at Northwestern competing in the Big 10 on the wrestling team. I completed my education at Northwestern after 3 years and enrolled in the accelerated direct entry Masters of Science in Nursing program at Marquette University. While completing my master's degree at Marquette, I worked as a registered nurse on the inpatient behavioral health unit at Froedtert Menomonee Falls Hospital. I completed my master's degree in nursing in 2020 and enrolled in the Doctor of Nursing Practice program at the University of Missouri. I completed my doctorate and obtained my certificate as a psychiatric nurse practitioner in 2022 and started working with Medical College of Wisconsin shortly after. I split my time between Children's Wisconsin-Milwaukee Hospital and the Froedtert North Hills Health Center doing outpatient psychotropic …medication management for children and adolescents.My goal is to find the simplest, safest, and most effective treatment for children and adolescents struggling with mental health concerns. The treatments that I select have long, evidence-based track records of safety and efficacy in the pediatric population. I also understand that medication is not always the solution. I have open and honest conversations with patients and their parents about the various pharmacological and non-pharmacological interventions available.
