Dr. Kim graduated from SUNY-Binghamton with a Bachelor of Arts degree in biology. Dr. Kim received his D.D.S. from New York University College of Dentistry. He subsequently completed a General Practice Residency program at Mount Sinai Hospital.
In 2000, Dr. Kim completed the prestigious 2 year Surgical/Prosthetic Implantology program from New York University College of Dentistry. Upon completion of the program, he was appointed to Clinic Assistant Professor. Currently, Dr. Kim is a Section Leader and Surgical Director for the Surgical/Prosthetic Implantology Program. Dr. Kim also completed the reknown “Maxicourse†in implant dentistry at NYU College of Dentistry.
Dr. Kim is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral Implantology considered the highest achievement in the field of implant dentistry. Dr. Kim has is a Fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. He is also the President-Elect for the Northeast District of the American Academy of Implant …Dentistry. He is also a Fellow in the International Congress of Oral Implantology. He is also an active member of the Academy of Osseointegration, Academy of General Dentistry, and American Dental Association. Dr. Kim is a frequent lecturer for Zimmer Dental and various local dental study groups. He has lectured nationally and internationally in the field of implant dentistry. His passion to better himself has led him to accumulate thousands of hours of continuing education.
He is married to Jamie and has 2 daughters, Holly and Sarah. He enjoys traveling, golf, basketball, and music.
