Jason Thomas King

On Saturday, October 30, 2021, I encountered behavior that I felt was disrespectful, and put my safety in jeopardy. I was located at the Madison branch, and was suppose to receive help with figuring out about my knee injury. Instead Jason T. King, MD decides to bring his personal cell phone out to google my diagnosis. I feel that was very inappropriate especially in front of me the patient who is depending on his knowledge. Also, when it was time to figure out the problem, he was clueless. At first I was only going to be recommended to take ibuprofen, and to stay off my leg. But, when I expressed where the pain was mainly coming from I was recommended to a orthopedic in Huntsville, Dr. Maples. I proceeded to make that appointment on November 1, 2021. I received a call back from the orthopedic on November 3, 2021 that the doctor Mr. King recommended didn’t offer what Mr. King diagnosed. I fear for myself, and other patients who have to go through Mr. King. I’m now afraid my diagnosis… is completely wrong. I’m afraid that if this happened to me it has happened to other people as well. Also, because I didn’t have insurance I was put inside of a broom closet with a sheet to cover the entrance. By far the worst experience I have EVER had with a doctor who proudly claims to know what he’s doing.
