Dr. Jason Edward Lao, DO

Have been living in the Las Vegas and surrounding area for over 10 years and it has always been a struggle to find a Doctor who shows genuine interest in listening to a patient, compassion for what they are going through and a thorough, thoughtful evaluation with a treatment plan. Most Doctors I have visited are in such a hurry to get out, they barely listen to you, dismiss concerns by scanning a lab result, perhaps pop a prescription and send you on your way. This is not Dr. Lao - he spends the time to listens intently, empathizes with patients and takes as much time as needed to ask questions and think through a treatment plan. He is on top of the latest research and goes through all options with you. Not only that, he proactively follows up to make sure you are okay. And on each subsequent visit he remembers your conversation, listens to your update, takes into account context of your personal circumstances, brings up new research related to your case and just genuinely helps you… with both tests and general advice. I can't speak highly enough. Thank you for your care Dr. Lao - I truly hope you remain in Vegas as you are elevating the standard of healthcare here significantly :)

Dr Lao has been my primary care physician for about a year. He is very caring, attentive, well-informed about all the different medical aspects, specialties, and issues affecting my care. He always takes extra time to study my chart, and ask a lot of questions about everything that could bear upon my care. Excellent, smart, hardworking doctor who puts quality of patient care ahead of cutting corners on costs or time.
