Dr. Jason Paul Mcconnell, MD

Hello. I have had back problems for over 10 years. Bad car wreck at 17 years of age. I Had back surgery 8 years ago. But bin having same problems. Same pains As I was having before. I went to see mr McConnell. He said I have a dead hip. Meaning I'm needing a full hip replacement. But never mentioned my back. When I brought it up first thing. As much pain as I have bin in. I didn't have much choice. So I said yes on surgery. Days before I seen him again. This time he was not so confident that he could take away all my pain. It gets worst. I was on strong pain meds for years. Dr long chiropractics told me a year ago. I have the worst back he has ever seen. Needles to say right after surgery. Mr McConnell expected me to have a pain free recovery when he gave me pain meds that was a quarter of the strength. of what I have bin taking. The ones I got use to. That did help me take away the pain. Days later I go to emergency room. Cause the pain was that extreme. Sat there over 3… hours. Before they gave me any pain meds. Cause he had to give the ok. Like he did not. Does not believe someone under his care could still be in pain. When I went back to confront him. Face to face. He told me he dont give strong pain meds to his patients. Then Got mad saying he's thinking of taking all pain meds away from his patients. wile under his care. How a man that sees people in pain every single day of his life. Could be so cold. To the ones in real pain. When I'm finding my self crying at night. Cause I still hurt under his care Is why I'm here righting this now. It's so hard. so dam scary to trust someone. Anyone to cut you open put in plastic parts to make you better as it is. If your going to see this man. Bring to his attention you have other problems. And you do expect your pain meds to remain the same. Or leave that to your pain doc. When you have one. not less then what your body and mind is use to. He also told me he plained on Cutting off his patients completely of pain meds. under his care. Wile they recover. For that reason alone. I would not recommend mr McConnell to work on my gold fish. Please dont do like I did. Do your research. Dont be afraid to ask Any questions. It's now bin 10 days since my surgery. Now my back hurts more know. Then before my surgery. And he does nothing. But make me feel like a pill head or junkie. Just a awful experience that's not over yet. This should have never happened. if he in fact cared just a little about his patients. Did a little research on them. Before cutting into themTo know there medical history. This review would have bin way different. Id Sure dont think I'd still be hurting this bad today. If my meds would have remained the Sam. I DO not understand one thing I did read the reviews. Not one person had this experience. Or at least did not post it here. Were it truly Matters. Nobody should hurt more after surgery. GOD AS MY WITNESS EVERY SINGLE WORD OF THIS IS TRUE...IF YOU DONT BELIEVE? CALL HIS OFFICE ASK FOR YOUR SELF...

First visit with Dr. McConnell for torn meniscus. Was seen immediately, found him to be very knowledgeable, compassionate. He listened to facts I gave him and used that in my treatment. Had tests and diagnosis and surgery within nine days. I am so impressed with him.Marveleous Dr. He's so kind. Feel very fortunate to have been referred to him.

I first saw this dr when he was coming to Malvern about 8 yrs ago. He has helped me thru multiple ortho problems including wrist surgery and a broken foot. I have arthritis in my knees and a painful old injury to both ankles . He has always been so compassionate and straightforward towards me even when I have been a difficult patient. I cried when he moved to Mt Home . It was a great loss to lose him as my dr Mt. Home is lucky to have him there to treat their population. God bless him and his family.

I took my 87 year old mother in to Dr. mcConnell after she had fallen and knee had swollen up. We had to be worked in so waited quite awhile but the doctor was so patient and caring. He spent a lot of time and drained her knee and xrayed to make sure there was not a break. I was so appreciative that he explained everything to her and put her at ease. Will send everybody I know to him.

Never have I met a doctor that was more compasionate, or intelligent. I think he has nothing but his patients best interest at heart. He is great for trying conservative treatment and doesnt feel rushed to just cut on you. I apprectiate that and wish more doctors were willing to try other things and not just surgery

Dr. McConnell seems to be a very good doctor, he is very caring and makes you very comfortable. If he is unsure of something, he is willing to get advice from another doctor, or do research. I went to him for several months for a complicated break of my arm. I would recommend him to anyone.
