Dr. Jason Richard Newman, MD

Dr. Newman has been my PCP for several years now, and has helped guide me through the difficult transition from my teens to adulthood. He listens attentively, and goes above and beyond to figure out the root cause of my medical concerns. I have admittedly been a challenging patient at times, particularly when struggling with mental illness- and he has always been understanding and compassionate, treating me with dignity and taking all of my concerns seriously. He has helped refer me to specialists within UTSW that have helped diagnose and treat issues, and shown excellent continuity of care and management of my holistic health. His kindness and expertise are a gift. I feel very, very fortunate to have him as my doctor.

Dr. Newman is my son's primary care physician. My son Savon has autism and is very much afraid of doctors. Dr. Newman has a very gentle disposition which allows my son to feel comfortable with very little anxiety. Dr. Newman listens and address any concerns I may have. He does not become frustrated by my son's loud vocalizations. I would be remiss in my review if I did not acknowledge Nurse Kelli, Dr. Newman's right hand. She is very professional, attentive, and caring. I am very pleased with this patient care provider.
