Dr. Jason Paul Pehling, DDS

By the time I was referred to Dr. Pehling, I really thought I was going crazy. I had been to so many specialists that I quite literally had 4-5 appointments per week. Although we have not yet found a solution to my problem (extremely complex), he continues to think outside the box. When my problems first started I had full x-rays done of my teeth. I was told nothing was wrong. Then all the specialists. After 8 months, at my first visit with Dr. Pehling, he put the same x-ray up, looked at it, and pointed out osteoarthritis in my jaw. His staff is also awesome.

I came to my appointment from a long ways and was disappointed with this office. I only saw Dr Pehling for maybe 20 min but they wanted me to give 2 hours for my appointment!! He basically came in, looked at my scans, showed me a few night guards and walked out into another patient appointment. I mentioned to the front office staff that it had already been 2 hours since they brought me back and that I had to get to work. They went and got Dr. Pehling again, because he had not finished talking with me. He brought me back to look at my scans and said, “go back on your CPAP and be prepared because you’re probabaly going to lose your teeth.” This appointment cost me about 400.00. What a complete waste of my time. Now I have to go through all of this with another Dr. to get a different opinion. Patient care in this office is terrible.

The only doctor who new what to do with me

After multiple visits to oral surgeon, I finally found Dr Pehling for relief of all oral pain and long term maintenance for TMJ.

Dr Pehling takes great care of me as a patient! I really appreciate that he listens and works to understand what is going on.

Staff makes excuses for wait time. (Did they overbook???? Don't know.) On one visit, several patients had cancelled so I did not have much of a wait BUT, to make a minor adjustment on my teeth, I would have to book yet another appointment costing yet another $$$$; he had the time that day due to there being cancellations. I come from a long way and that office has no consideration. On a previous appointment, they scheduled my appointment on an upcoming holiday - I wondered but thought they were going to work anyway - then last minute they called saying they needed to change my appointment which was a long way out. AGAIN, another example of poor management. There needs to be competition in this field so this nonsense would stop.

Dr Pehling always listens to what i say. He genuinely cares for his patience.

I was worried I'd have to get jaw surgery, but after I saw Dr. Pehling I was reassured that I only needed to have an appliance and to do some exercises. I can eat almost anything now and barely think about my jaw pain. Dr. Pehling is very knowledgeable and is a pro at adjusting jaw appliances.
