He covered local high school teams and NCAA Division I football games as the Orthopedic Surgeon on the sidelines. He completed a Sports Medicine Fellowship with US Ski Team doctors at the Taos Orthopedic Institute in Taos, NM.
Dr. Piefer’s practice …includes Arthroscopy and Joint Replacement of the shoulder, hip, and knee as well as orthopedic trauma. He is active with local high school teams assisting with sideline care for athletes. He is also affiliated with Iron Man Sports Medicine.
