Dr. Jason Michael Plansky, MD

I arrived at the ER with a severe, months-long descent into malnutrition due to an undiagnosed GI issue. Dr. Plansky dismissed all of my concerns regarding malnutrition and refused to take seriously the fact that I needed a plan to be able to eat and hydrate again (likely on the basis of my whopping 27.5 BMI, judging by the muscle shirt he wore to work) -- from the moment Plansky entered the room, he declared that I likely wouldn't be admitted since I was not experiencing an emergency, and that "you can live on 300 calories a day"; I was not offered fluids and told I was not dehydrated despite high ketones, proteins in urine and other markers in my "normal" workup. I suspect he declares anything that isn't trauma/physical injury a non-emergency since he lacks the skill to treat it. He did not know what risk management or EMTALA was but he will soon find out.

I was the victim of violence and this doctor took care of me. He told me that he would help me tonight and he even hooked me up with a primary care doctor. He is the best doctor I have ever had and that includes the pediatrician I had for 22 years.

This is the most amazing doctor. He is a caring, professional person who took the time to get to know my issues. He is friendly and made me feel safe. I would like to commend him and his nurses Ephraim and Kira, his tech Steve, and his PA Karly for helping me too.

I love this doctor. He is calm, caring, and compassionate. He takes his time with patients and addresses not just their physical pain but their emotional pain as well. I have been to the ER hundreds of times for my medical problems but have never met someone quite like this doctor.

If ZERO STARTS AND A LAWYER WERE AN OPTION THAT IS WHAT IT WOULD BE. I WILL STILL BE CALLING A LAWYER. I took my 95 year old mother there. She laid there for 8 hours with NO TREATMENT, NO ROOM, could not run and IV LINE, lied about giving her a CAT SCAN (3 hours after they took her they said she never got the CAT SCAN). I am a licensed therapist and a CPA. After requesting assistance for HOURS AND MY MOTHER WAS IN SEVERE PAIN, for which they did NOTHING, her head hit the railing / bars on the GURNEY (hospital bed). As I spoke to them NO ONE WOULD RESPOND, ASSIST OR LOOK UP EVEN. The Charge nurse came and said they had repositioned her which was a total lie. I sat next to her the ENTIRE TIME AND NO ONE HAD TOUCHED HER AS SHE FELL TO THE SIDE AND HIT HER HEAD. I told CHARGE NURSE WHO WAS INSANE "THAT IS A LIE, STUPID." They sent 10 security to remove a 4'10" woman who was advocating for her Mother. This insane doctor (should not be a doctor) come after not seeing me or my mother… after shift change, and THREW ME OUT LEAVING ME IN THE STREET IN 30 DEGREE WEATHER FOR HOURS WITH NO PLACE TO GO AND MY AGITATED IN PAIN 95 YEAR OLD MOTHER ALONE. I HAD TO CALL THE POLICE FOR PROTECTION FROM ALL OF THEM. They decented upon me like a pack of wolves, a cohesive group of WILD ANIMALS, SAVAGES!!!!! I intent to seek advice from a lawyer. They would not allow my mother to transfer to another hospital or assist her in any way. They held her hostage. Once in the hospital they, she had not been offerd anything to drink or eat almost 72 hours and she is diabetic. they stopped medication that is dangerous to stop abruptly. She is on a pureed diet with thickened fluids and they gave her pure water and a slice of thick steak. Ofcourse she did not eat or drink. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE. NO ONE CARED IN THE LEAST ABOUT HER CARE. HE DID NOT CARE. HE BEHAVED LIKE AN INSANE ANIMAL LIKE OTHERS WROTE BELOW!!!!

I have been treated by this doctor 2 times after I've been going to the Westchester Medical Center ER for years. He is by far the worst ER doctor I have ever had! He has no bed side manner whatsoever, very dismissive, rude and condescending. Didn't seem too interested in finding out the root of my problem and denied all pain medication eventhough I was in extreme pain. He even had the audacity to say "If you don't have anything else, I am leaving now" and just stormed out the room. If you ever run across this doctor, just ask for a different one if possible. Worst 2 experiences ever!!!

I was so anxious I was having a heart attack. He told me I probably wasn’t but he checked anyway. He gave me an appointment with the cardio and the gastro. I love this hospital!

I had fluttering in my chest fo 3 months. My doctor had no clue. The ER doctor figured out I had lymes tick disease. We were going to walk out and he begged me to stay. I'm better now.

My wife got hit by a car. This Dr. Plansky took care of her in the ER. She had to go for surgery. He kept coming back into our room and making sure her pain was under control. He kept reassuring me that the surgeons would take good care of her. When she was going up for surgery I hugged him and he hugged me back and said I was a wonderful husband for staying the whole time with my wife. He thanked me for being there to advocate for her. What an amazing doctor, great bedside manner.
