Dr. Jason Craig Popp, MD

Dr. Popp was one of my parents doctors and at the beginning was alright. But as my parent got older and he was well established in the community; he seem to have less time to listen and seemed to order tests that was unnecessary and just relied on pills to fix the health problems. Fast forward to now and my parent was found to find many health problems that are severe and I feel if he had listen to my parent rather brushing it aside due to being older; they would be in a better place health wise. Many tests that was ordered were not not followed up on when other medical problems were found.

I have been seeing Dr. Popp for over 10 years. His advise and approach to helping with my medical concerns have been a great experience. He has always been correct in choosing the correct path for resolution. His best attribute is his pragmatic approach; always simple first. A great GP. Would recommend to anyone in the Rochelle area.

We find him very helpful he came in and checked on my husband when he probably really didnt need to since there was another doctor in the ER, he went above and beyond to make my husband feel comfortable in a semi scary time in his life. His bed side to us seemed great compared to other doctors that do not bother to ask if you have another questions. Thus far we have no felt dismissed and our questions have been answered. I have unfortunately seen a lot of doctors, and by far Dr. Popp seems to have a much better bed side manor than most.

poor excuse for a doctor jerk. He don't care about you.You are just another number. Getting him to listen is ridiculous. He took his sweet time filling perscriptions. No bedside manner. He compassion is what he needs. Don't bother run the other way. The office will not let you see any other doctor after you leave heads up. They are a joke all of them. How about a -5 star

Arrogant, pompous jerk.

While Dr. Popp is a great doctor, I find it alarming he must practice medicine based off of the affiliations of St. Anthony's Hospital organization's religious beliefs. Religious beliefs should not play a factor in his decisions regarding medically appropriate treatment. For this reason, I may seek an alternative doctor.
