Dr. Jason Marcus Powers, MD

Dr. Jason Powers is a family medicine physician who earned his medical degree from the University of Iowa. He completed his residency training at the University of Colorado Health, building expertise in comprehensive primary care. With 27 years of experience in family medicine, Dr. Powers has developed extensive knowledge in caring for patients across all age groups. He is fluent in both English and Spanish, allowing him to serve diverse patient populations.

Dr. Powers practices at multiple locations throughout Iowa City, including UI Health Scott Boulevard Clinic, University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, and University of Iowa Health Care Medical Center Downtown. He has particular experience treating patients with loss of trunk control, weakness, and cerebral palsy. His approach includes physical therapy techniques, strength training programs, and manual therapy treatments to help patients improve their mobility and function.
