Dr. Jason Prager, MD

When I first met Dr. Praeger who was going to be my mom's doctor at Livia Assisted Living, he admitted to having a poor memory.And he sure was right about his poor memory issues. I lost my mother a year ago due to Dr. Praeger & the his staff neglecting my mother. She had sepsis for many days and Dr. Praeger knew of her condition and allowed her to sit in her room very ill. His assistant and the Head of Nursing at Livia Assisted Living knew of my mom's condition & did not tell me or my mother. If I had known that she was so ill, I would have taken her straight to the ER. An 81 year old woman with sepsis goes straight to ER. But not this time. The sepsis lead to her death. A couple of weeks after my mom's death, Dr. Praeger yelled at me on the phone, "Just say it! Just say It..Dr. Praeger, you are responsible for my mother's death!" He yelled this over & over to me on the phone. Clearly the words of a guilty man. Praeger & his assistant are the reason I am not celebrating y mother's… birthday today and how he still has a medical license is shocking. I have been and will continue to work on making sure that this man does not neglect his elderly patients.

How anyone could not give him a perfect score is beyond me.

My father was seen by Dr. Prager a few years back for a new patient appointment. During my dad's exam , Dr. Prager seemed to be a bit humorous to break the ice but it went straight to an unpleasant. awkward situation. The questions he asked were shocking, undignified and savory to say the least. He went over board. My dad had been getting more and more uncomfortable as he continued to speak. After a few more off the cuff statements I couldn't' stand much more and I actually had to reprimand him, a doctor no less! that he was off the cuff, asked if he took bed side manners in pre med. I went on to say how unprofessionally he treated my dad and wondered if he treated all patients like that. Who knows what would have been the outcome if I was not in the room, With that, I left the appointment very angry and my dad feeling undignified. I spoke with doctor privately and told him how shocked I was at his behavior, That I was unhappy that I was going to contact the board! Then off I went-… I turned back to see his face with a worried look. Hours later , he called me on the phone apologizing for his bad behavior, and practically begged me not to call the board. I lashed out at him again and left him hanging. I would never ever refer him to anyone. JV/MB

Dr. Prager is fabulous. OMG it blew my mind to hear him talking about my father illness and the steps and treatments we need to do. He takes his time ...

Dr Prager takes the time to really listen and understand and then offer solutions to issues of the aging! Thank God I found him, he is truly a wonderful Doctor!
