Dr. Jason Rahme

I had a telehealth visit with Dr. Rahme for a persistent cough that did not resolve itself after experiencing flu-like symptoms. Dr. Rahme was thorough in asking questions about the symptoms I was experiencing. He asked relevant questions to identify the most likely issue and provided a course of action in case antibiotics were not enough to resolve the issue. Very satisfied with the doctor's expertise and recommendations.

Both my husband & myself are patients of Dr. Rahme. We have had nothing but good experiences with him. The staff are also excellent. Dr. Rahme takes time to explain everything to you, most physicians these days don't do that. He is very dedicated to his patients.

Would have preferred a female doctor, but he was the only one in practice available. Had multiple issues going on and found he did "not" understand my situation or what I was telling him but only "realized" this after reviewing my paperwork; I did ask the office to correct this which caused another issue. He also wanted to do overkill on things that were NOT of issue, and also wanted to change meds he said were conflicting / similar family groups, but which I had used for years ( not often but as needed ). And I knew where he was coming from and had previously checked with my pharmacists to verify IF I needed them together that there would be no conflict and was told "no " for several reason, one being low dosage amounts. Additionally -- and he is not alone where this come into play - he didn't know the reputations of local or surrounding area doctors/specialists thus unable to recommend for things he wanted others to treat or second opinion on, and… that is a major problem. The names he recommended were people I knew their reputations - and would never recommend. Most of us with issues are in that situation due to Poor Care or trusting the wrong professional, so we do not want "just anyone" treating us or someone we know has a bad reputation. Found too often doctors are now telling you to look on the internet for that info -- who has a good reputation/ qualifications - and this is NOT the way to pick a specialist. He recommended this too. Poor way to pick a professional as these internet sites do "not" ask the questions that are really important and often reviews are from people who have not had any serious issues to "assess" skills and or have not seen them but once. And if there are NO or few reviews you have to be suspect as to who wrote them. And last but not least -- follow up appointments were not made for him, and you had to arrange your own appointments for specialists too. To be fair -- I think he is too new to the area which is why he doesn't have any real input on "reputations." And where the Med Issues came into play, I knew where he was coming from, but it was not of issue for me. Plus these were "drugs" that had helped me in the past when nothing else did - and drugs I trusted.

I've known him for some time. Always kind and caring
