Dr. Jason Ali Ravanbakht, MD

This Dr was very disrespectful and unprofessional. He belittled me for coming to him for my excruciating fibromyalgia pain. He asked me what I expected him to do, I replied that my doctor had referred me to him and since he was a pain doctor we assumed that he could offer me some pain relief. He would ask me questions and then cut me off before I could answer them. I tried to explain to him that I suffer with severe anxiety and that I was nervous, he made me feel very uncomfortable. I left his office feeling very defeated and hopeless.

I am deeply honored that Dr. Ravanbakht has taken me on as a patient. We have made great strides improving my back pain. He does have an interesting personality, with little filter on speaking his thoughts, which I find amusing. He is informative, optimistic, and seems happy for me when he comes in to discuss my progress.

I didn't read any of the reviews before I saw him for the first time today, That was a mistake. Because I would have asked for a different doctor. Every review that I've read so far explains my exact experience!! From the minute he walked in the door he was rude and condescending. He talked like I was beneath him and not worth talking to. He has no compassion whatsoever. He was also very rude to my husband. I have been a patient of theirs for many years and have never been treated this badly. I honestly would not recommend him at all to anybody. Rudest doctor ever!!!

This doctor should not be practicing medicine anywhere! He is rude, condescending and unsympathetic! He came in with a bad attitude and it only got worse from there. He treated my husband like an idiot and even hinted that he was a liar and drug addict! His first words(before we could even say anything) were really hateful "I have no idea why you are here! There is nothing I can do for you! I am not a drug dealer!" It went downhill after that! We have NEVER been this humiliated in our entire lives! I would not recommend this doctor to my worse enemy!

Went to this office, referred to me by my medical Doctor ( Doctor Phillip). The front office clerks were nothing but rude and determined that their opinion was the final say. I thought that was bad until I was greeted in the examination room by Dr. Jason A Ravanbakht. It was plain to see by his body movement and facial expression that he had made up his mind about me. He told me right from the first that I did not need to be in his office. I have been having severe back pain since 2000. I worked through it without taking any sick time. (Check my records at the City of Kannapolis Police Dept.) I have used very few narcotics in my lifetime and I did not appreciate being treated like I was a dope Addict. Many times did I turn down any kind of drugs to help the pain even after surgery . When I told Dr. Jason that I had been scheduled for back surgery and that it would be my fifth he stated (you don't need another back surgery he hasn't helped so far. I said yes it did. After… the 3rd surgery I had six good years before it started causing me trouble again. He said you need to go back to your doctor and get him to help you. He said I don't give out pills. I told him I was tired of people thinking I was hooked on drugs and to just look at my record. I am a retired veteran of the Kannapolis Police Dept. I was probably out no more than 10 days on sick leave in 23 years. I ran long distance and lifted weights for over 30 years. I had very few complaints from the citizens on how I treated them. I have been retired 9 years and I still have people that I arrested come up and tell me they appreciate how honest and fair I treated them. I received numerous awards during my career. If you doubt me I can provide work records and medical records as evidence of my character. This is the first doctor that has ever tried to humiliate me and I deeply resent it. Most of the complaints by other patients are unverified. I challenge you to check into my work, medical and family history and then tell me I should have had this kind of treatment. I would like a response. I asked for the office manager to call so I could voice my concerns and my treatment by this so-called doctor. At this time, I haven't received a call. Never in my 63 years have I been treated so rudely and had my integrity questioned. And yes, I did walk out while calling him an a**hole. My anger got the best of me for a moment.

Severe rib pain from multiple fractures. He was able to provide relief.

This doctor treated me terrible!!! I was referred to this group of doctors by the hospital located next door. He talked to me like i was a heroin addict or some piece of _ _ _ _. Definitely no compassion and didnt even try to ask questions or address any issues.. Would not recommend this MD or "Shelley" the PA.

Doctor Ravanbakht has no business being a doctor. I was sent to his office and scheduled with him and because one treatment didn't work he said there is nothing else he could do....REALlY!!!!!!!!

I was a patient of his for a long time and didn't have any problems. Then out of the blue he changed my med. to Opana. It made me have hallucinations and I told him what was going on. Well the next thing you know he wouldn't give me anymore med. He put in my records that I was suicidal, nothing but a lie. Then told me he would only write my pain med if I would go to a psychologist. I did so and the psychologist told me to find a different pain dr. He said dr r. Pushes meds that he can get kickbacks from the reps. And if you say you can't take it, he will find a way to kick you out. If you go to him, I feel sorry for you. Terrible Dr that has no business being one.
