Dr. Jason Dean Remington, DO

I’m a new patient of Dr. Remingtons. Very impressed with his care, concern and thoroughness in getting to know my health history and checking into some ongoing issues. I feel confident I made the right choice in choosing dr. Remington.

Dr Remington was familiar with my chart and took the time to talk with me. He and his staff make a visit a Norman Rockwell experience.

Been using Dr. Remington for years. Couldn’t have anything better to say about him or his staff. Recently had Covid, got a next day appointment, and his nurse, Sarah, called every morning to check on me. Dr Remington is patient and attentive couldn’t be more happy with the service.

We started using Doc Remington after we had our son, as a new mother I was very nerves, as every new mother is! From the first time we met the Doc we were so comfortable confident with him... When our son we about 4weeks old it was about 430pm and we noticed he was running a high fever, as we were putting him in the car we called his office-knowing that it was probably to late but we tried anyway, and they answered. I explained what was going on and expecting them to tell us it was to late but as they were talking to me the Doc was in the room and I could here him telling the woman on the phone to tell us to come on him and come through the staff door. When we got there the Doc was waiting in the office with his nurse, they took us to a room and he checked him out and took us over to the hospital to get a chest xray (all the while I am crying because I thought I had done something wrong and my baby was sick because of it and my husband was also an emotional wreck) as we were waiting… out side the xray room the Doc had an arm around each of us telling us everything will be fine we will get your little man taken care of what ever it is!!! The xray showed that our son had bronchitis. The Doc referred us to the children's hospital about 20 mins away because he was so tiny, Most doctors would have left it at that and would have just waited for the follow up visit, BUT NOT Doctor Remington, as we left his office for the Children hospital he asked if he could call and check on him until he knows we were released of course we said yes, Doc called about every to hours to check on my son and us, about the third phone call (This was around 3am) we hadn't heard anything since the last time he called, and he ended that phone conversation very quickly within 5mins after that the doctors were in our room explaining what was going on and was they were going to do to get our son well-as the Children's hospital doctor was leaving our room he asked who our regular doctor was and we told him and all he said after that is "you have a dang good doctor", my husband and I just looked at each other wondering what he was talking about, about this time Doc Remington was calling again to find out what the doctor had said, we told him everything and then we asked him what that doctor could have meant about what he had said about him and Doc Remington had called that doctor for us and what was said we still don't know but we didn't have to wait anymore. My son is know 4 years old and is a very shy little guy with people he don't know but during his visits with the doc he is usually sitting in his lap "Helping him"! IF YOU KNOW A BETTER DOCTOR THAN THAT PLEASE SHARE YOUR STORY!!! They are always great about getting us in when we need to, they are amazing working around our work schedule, we may have to wait on him in the waiting room or in a room for a while but he is an amazing doctor with a lot of patients, he does take care of you, your may just have to wait every now and then- so what, he is trying to get to everyone as soon as he can! Doctor Remington is my husband, our son, our new born daughters, and my doctor and he isn't just our doctor we see him as our family, along with his whole staff they follow is amazing example. I would refer him to anyone and have referred him many times... Thanks Susie, Nichole, Judy and of course Doctor Remington...

Waiting on the staff to learn the new computer system is annoying, because they don't know how to find the "electronically filed" test results, and can't tell you if you need an appointment or not, you can't talk to the doctor, and what are you suppose to do in the meantime?Dr. Remington is an excellent doctor, and I like his staff. I know this change isn't their fault, but it's hard to be patient through this time of change when you have sick kids and can't get them seen or be able to talk to the doctor in the meantime! (And you feel you're getting nowhere with the staff)! I will be glad when everyone learns this new system, and I wish the staff the very best on this stressfull adventure! They have to deal with inpatient people like me, and I apologize for that.. We just want what is best for our kids.
