Dr. Jason Thomas Rich, MD

I was referred to Dr. Rich because my surgery was too complicated for the ENT I started with. Dr. Rich removed a chondroblastoma that destroyed my left jaw requiring jaw replacement with a prosthesis. This also involved peeling back my facial nerve and removing a lot of tissue along with the tumor. He and his team also dealt with a significant hemorrhage occurring at the end of the surgery. His calm, confident, and reassuring manner was a huge comfort to me as I was going through the worst time of my 25 yr life. He is a great combination of skill and humanity. I am blessed to have him in my hometown.

I knew as soon as I met Dr. Rich the first time that I had placed my care in the right hands. His calm, yet informative manner was exactly what I needed. He had in hand the diagnosis of melanoma but would not move forward with the surgery until he was certain that he had the complete picture. The delay confirmed his concern; there was additional melanoma which was not included in the first diagnosis. His skill as a surgeon is unparalleled, yet he always shared the accolades with his "great team." He has been the same caring healer before, during, and after my surgeries. Dr. Rich made me comfortable from the start by telling me the percentage of a complete cure. My cancer was caught early but I was also told that it would be a ongoing process and what I need to up my chances of that cure. From my first visit I knew I was being taken care of.
